Testing a newly acquired lens, a SMC Takumar 55mm F2.0 which i purchased for $29.00

It is an M42 mount, so I had to get an adapter off ebay, which was $8.00 delivered, the lens itself shows quite a bit CA wide open, but stopped down to around F4 its almost gone, and it seems to be very sharp from F2.8, alot more then kit lens level, so this is definately a good purchase.

Been an old lens (1976), there is no auto focus, and the aperture needs to be adjusted manually on the lens ! It is truly a full manual lens only, but it certainly delivers sharp and true images if you a capable of operating it.
